 Israel Reyes is a self-taught artist. His interest for editing grew when he discovered his power to manipulate raw footage and meticulously develop it into his director’s vision. Israel stepped towards the art of digital media commencing as a sound check assistant for a variety of television shows for KRCA, a Hispanic oriented broadcasting station based in Los Angeles.
Israel became an established video editor in 2004 when he was given the opportunity to work on Secretos, a reality based T.V. show where he was able to introduce his unique style of video editing. His one of a kind style allowed him to continue to grow as a professional as the opportunities to work on various projects emerged.
Over the years Israel has been able to express his capability expanding from reality based projects and music videos for such clients as Oryon Media Artist to his most recent contribution on Buscando Fantasmas for Telemundo. For the first time, through LOVE Israel is contributing to a project as associate producer, exploring and offering his outlook in a different part of production using his visual expertise. Israel can only hope to continue his growth of knowledge through the projects to which he contributes. As he expressed “I am testing the fields, and I’m not afraid to jump in.”.
